So as I mentioned last year in my post on the Acorn Ball Ornament, this year I would be doing a more rustic themed (although it must be elegant too) Christmas decorating. In fact, I’ve been working on it most of the year. Seeing as how Southern California is know for palm trees, not pine trees, its taken about that much time to gather decent and multi-sized pinecones I needed for many of my projects. So over the next several posts I’m going to share my crafting journey with a few of the projects used to create my elegant rustic themed Christmas this year. I hope you like it.
I started by searching Pinterest, of course, for idea sparkers and moved on to some of my favorite eclectic stores – Cost Plus World Market, TJMaxx, Home Goods, and even Wal-Mart – for more ideas and inspiration. Snapping photos along the way, I went home and, as I always do, made a plan. Below is my montage of some of my inspiration. At the end, I will reveal my décor this year and would love to know your thoughts! Happy Holidays and see you next post!
