So I know this one is a little behind the eight ball for Christmas but I got a little swamped pre-Christmas. I really wanted to share because I love this little project. So maybe a little late but I think its worth the wait.
When I decided I wanted to create a Kate Spade Live Colorfully inspired Christmas, I knew… Continue reading
I saw this amazingly simple card holder last year on. Sadly, I don’t remember where but it did make an impression on me. And when I decided I wanted to do a Kate Spade inspired Christmas, specifically her Live Colorfully line, I knew exactly what I want to do using it as the base design for a Kate Spade Inspired… Continue reading
Perhaps it should say cheese? In this family we leave wine and cheese for Santa. What can I say, Santa needs a break from all that sugar and lactose. But tradition states Santa gets cookies. So you can’t have Christmas without a cookie plate, right?
With my Kate Spade inspired Christmas, that left me with a couple of options. Dots… Continue reading
Oh my Kate Spade obsession. Let it get fuller and richer and completely robust! I am super excited to share with you what I came up with.… Continue reading
I’m at the part where the end is more than in sight, its really right around the corner. And what you would think would be the easy part became a slight frustration – not because the process itself was hard but rather just getting everything just right.

But one that was fast and easy to get done was my fabric covered bulletin board. I started with a previous DIY bulletin board I’d made a few years ago, added fabric… Continue reading
I love taking things that are designed for one thing and using them for a completely different purpose. Old cashew containers for storage jars. Shoe boxes for filing greeting cards and thank you notes. Wall curtains for upholstery of desk chairs and kitchen chairs. And my latest…shower curtains for wall curtains.
So I have the worst lighting in my… Continue reading
So I have these two awesome yard sale find chairs. They are gross by useable standards but the bones are amazing! One is a tufted curved back and the other is a traditional wingback. Total price for both chairs – $12. Great price but only if I could reupholster them.
